Hello again to everyone. The US Open starts next week, so this is one of the most exciting times of the year to be on the tour. Last year I made it to the finals before losing to Pete Sampras. This year Pete is seeded first, and I am seeded second. This time around however, I am hoping for a different result at the end of the tournament (LOL). Despite my high seeding, I am not taking any of my matches or opponents for granted. Interesting things can happen at the US Open, many of the players seem to be able to raise their games to another level. There are quite a few players to look out for during the tournament. Pete is obviously the man to beat, he is the defending champion, and he has won the Open four times. You can't forget about Andre Agassi either. He has not had a very good year, but he usually plays well in New York. My Athlete Direct colleague Mark Philippoussis is another player who could go far in the tournament.
