Michael's News: February 1997

Michael won his first tournament of the year in Memphis! This was a special win for him because this was the tournament where he debuted as a professional in 1988. In the stands to see him take win the title for the first time in ten tries were his parents, Carl, Diana, and trainer Ken Matsuda amidst the many spectators and fans.

Carl turned 28 years old on the 13th, and Michael turned 25 on Saturday the 22nd!
