Michael's News: January 2000

KIWIS AND "AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE, OY OY OY!"s: Michael enjoyed a successful kickoff to his 2000 season with a finalist showing in Auckland, New Zealand, a tuneup to the Australian Open. This was his first time competing in New Zealand, and he enjoyed it so much that he has vowed to return to Auckland in 2001. The next week (actually, the next day :D) he competed in the Australian Open in Melbourne, where he lost in the first round to rising teenage Swiss star Roger Federer.
